3. Minky Care & Maintenance

Treat it well — love it longer

Minky is designed to be ultra-soft and long-lasting when properly cared for.

✔ Wash Alone
Always wash your minky blanket separately to reduce shedding and protect its fibers.

✔ Cold Water Only
Heat can cause fibers to fuse, permanently damaging the softness.

✔ Gentle Detergent
Liquid or powder detergent works best. Avoid pods, which may not dissolve evenly.

✘ No Fabric Softener — Ever
Fabric softener leaves residue that hardens minky fibers and dulls the cozy feel.

✔ Hang Dry Preferred
For best results, hang dry. If needed, use air-only in the dryer — NO HEAT.
